Salux Imitations

They say the greatest form of flattery is imitation.

Boy oh boy are we ever being flattered.

The picture below is a sample of what one customer got when they ordered what they thought was the real Salux cloth.  The one on the right is what was posted on the web page and the one on the left is what they received.

In our research we found the following facts about the imitation cloth pictured on the left:

  • The weight of the imitation is half the weight of the real Salux cloth but they are the same size which makes the imitation very flimsy and our tests prove that they don't create lather as well as the real cloth. It also means that the durability of the cloth would not meet Salux standards.
  • The imitation is made from 100% nylon where the Salux cloth is made of 60% nylon and 40% polyester.
  • The difference in the weave and texture doesn't meet the standards set by Salux Co., LTD to insure skin stimulation and blood circulation.
  • The imitation cloth does not have the required Federal Trade Commission tag sewn in the seam (they shouldn't even be sold in the USA without this tag).
If you receive a cloth that doesn't have the tag as pictured below ask for a refund.
So the choice is yours.
